CHESTER GNSS SAM-M8Q uBlox power consumption

Hello, what is the current consumption of the GNSS SAM-M8Q uBlox module on the CHESTER Mainboard? I’m looking at the Hardware Basic Parameters docs section, but this information is missing.

I’m curious about these scenarios:

  • When the GNSS receiver is populated on the CHESTER MB, but not used
  • When used once a day
  • When used every minute for tracking purposes

So the consumption varies from 32 to 10 mA based on acquisition speed.

When GNSS is populated on the MB but not used, the consumption is zero, we have power switches to that module.
