Playground shows (no device available) even though dongle is plugged in

When I connect the USB dongle I see it being connected in dmesg, Yet the BigClow Playground 0.9.4 says Radio USB Dongle: (no device available).

I’m on Gentoo linux.

$ uname -r
4.9.95-gentoo
$ dmesg
[ 2469.681329] usb 1-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-pci
[ 2469.769830] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=0403, idProduct=6015
[ 2469.769833] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[ 2469.769835] usb 1-1.2: SerialNumber: bc-usb-dongle-r1.0-836d1983282d

Do I need some driver, or some special kernel configuration for the dongle to connect? I didn’t find any in the docs or anything similar here on forums.

Hi,
probably need install ftdi driver, because my dmesg looks like

[ 112.517037] usb 1-1: new full-speed USB device number 5 using xhci_hcd
[ 112.672088] usb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0403, idProduct=6015

[ 113.697004] usb 1-1: Detected FT-X
[ 113.697456] usb 1-1: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0

On, turris I used this, but with gentoo I haven’t any experience

opkg install kmod-usb-serial-ftdi
insmod ftdi_sio
