TRÅDFRI & BigClown

Hello!

Does anyone tried Ikea TRÅDFRI and BigClown modules in same home? I am curious if those two kind of wireless devices can work reliably without jamming each other.

Hi Michal,

Ikea TRÅDFRI uses frequency 2,4 GHz with ZigBee protocol and BigClown radio uses 868 MHz. So BigClown modules are OK, but Ikea devices may interference with WiFi (https://www.metageek.com/training/resources/zigbee-wifi-coexistence.html).

No issues there for many years, I use Core Module’s shock sensor firmware to turn on the lights. @martin.grames is right about frequencies, thanks for clarification.
